Community Midwives

Local midwifery services are now run on a team basis and clinics are run at the surgery weekly on Thursday mornings. You can complete a self-referral to the community midwifery team by following this link:

Community Nurses

The nurses provide care to patients in their homes when they are not able to attend the surgery. They can be contacted by telephoning the surgery and asking for a referral to be sent.

Health Visitors

A health visitor is a registered nurse who has received training particularly related to babies, children and pregnant women. Their role is to provide families with children under five years old with support and advice around the general aspects of mental, physical and social wellbeing.

Our local teams may be contacted on 01923 243 568.
